Hi, thanks for this detailed video. I have a query about how is the written ability of an applicant perceived by the personal statements? Like in the first two paragraphs in the sample, 'build on' has been used twice, should the word repetitions be paid that much attention?

Can I please ask a question regarding STAR method- more specifically, do you recommend its use in job applications, especially when one has to demonstrate skills like communication, team work, self motivation etc? I got rejected from UCl for Chem Engineering I applied in November but only found out couple of days ago UCl rejected me it's fine I got an offer from Loughborough but it would have been nice to have UCl as well what annoys me is the most is that they tell me now

Hi, most of your videos are geared towards industry/corporate jobs. Since I am mostly applying for PhDs, it is a little hard to apply these suggestions to PhD interviews.

Hi, my questions are: 1-I saw on the position description that interns in Global Data will be assigned to specific teams within the department. What are the different teams and what will the assigning process look like? (I couldn't find the teams online) 2- Is there anything that leaves you with hesitancy about choosing me for this position? Hi Raj! I found your videos through the school website, and they have been really inspiring and helpful! I just have one question about something I saw in some other article: do I really have to explain a gap year on my CV in the cover letter? I took one between my bachelor and my master just to clear my thoughts. I did work a little as a freelancer/intern during that time, but not for the whole year. Thank you very much!
